Stubborn! Ace x Reader pt 3 Freckles cares ?

The early morning light was bright on your eyes as you woke, you then sat up and rubbed your eyes. You stood and reached for the sky and yawn'd. "Ugh... It's 7 am, it's too god damn early..." You thought rubbing your face as you stepped Luffy who was snoring as loud as ever. "I wonder how I get to sleep with that thing sleeping next to me?" you muttered under you breath as you try not to wake any of them.

You started for the door, but cold shivers ran down your spin. "______, where are you going?" Ace asked tiredly raising an eyebrow. You slowly turn to a half asleep Ace who was now staring right at you with his head raised slightly from his pillow.

"I'm not going anywhere, I just can't get back to sleep so I'm gonna sit outside." You sighed and walked out the door. You sat on the outside the foot of the door and let out a sigh. "You shouldn't sit on your own, shorty" Ace laughed poking his head out the door. "Awww freckles cares." You giggled as he came to sit next to you. "Don't push it shorty." He says hitting your head softly. You glance at him, noticing a hint of pink of his cheeks. "Are you okay, Ace? Your face looks a bit red." You ask moving closer to get a better look at him. His eyes widen "N-No, I'm fine." He staggers back. "Are you sure? Your face has gone even redder than before. "S-Shut up _____ !!" He scolds before getting to his feet. "You're no fun freckles, always so stubborn about things" You huff crossing your arms an looking to the side. "Well at least I'm not a baby" He says walking back into the room. You clench your fist and raise it. "I hate you" You laugh. "Yea, I know." He answers. You shot glared at him then sat up right.


"I'm hungry!" You heard a boy shout from in the room. Your eyes opened wide, then you got up and went in. "_____, let's get some breakfast" Luffy giggled. "I was just thinking the same thing". You answer. "We can spar after" Sabo says. "Yosh! I will win" Luffy shouts. "You never win Luffy." Ace laughs. "I do!" He pouts crossing his arms. "_____, you should spar with Ace, at least the fright would be for a good purpose." Sabo smirks, looking at Ace. Ace shoots him a glare. "Sure, I don't mind. Just don't hold back too much freckles" You say confidently looking at him with a smile.

His eyes widen then change to a glare. "I never back down, so I won't hold back on you!" He scolds sending a shiver down your spin as he clenched his fist. "I wanna fight ______ too!" Luffy growls. "If you don't steal my food I'll fight you." You reply, nervously from Ace's eyes still on you.



                                    --------After breakfast--------

"Gomu Gomu No Pistol!" You watched Luffy's arms stretch it hit a tree sprang right back at his face. "Hahaha" You held your belly in and rolled on the floor laughing.  "What are you trying to do!" Ace shouts hitting Luffy's head. "WHAT ARE YOUR DEVIL FRUIT POWERS EVEN USEFUL!?" He shouts hitting Luffy's head again. "It's over. That's another lose for Luffy, and a win for Ace." Sabo writes on the board. "Sabo, you're next." You say giving him a smile and a thumbs up.



Sabo runs towards Ace, Ace does the same Sabo doges his fist but Ace swings round. "I win sabo" He says before sending him flying. You stand there in awe with your mouth hanging open. "Hey, that's rude to stand there with your mouth open" Ace scolds you. "It's only rude if you take it the wrong way freckles." You laugh getting to your feet. You look over to Sabo now getting up and walking towards the board. "_____, beat Ace! No one ever beats him!" Luffy says raising his fist to the air smiling.

"I'll try" You say rubbing the back of your neck. "Ugh... I'm gonna have a bad back after this" You thought walking out towards Ace. "I hope your ready shorty" Ace smirks. "Always, when it come's to you freckles. Just don't try to kill me" You giggle. "Only if you try not to kill me." He reply's eith his arms crossed. You clench your fist and you both run for each other. "I won't lose to you freckles" You smirk. Your fist make's contacted with something hard, and something hard hits you too and you black out.
